Dog Wheelchair Fit & Sizing Guide
Dog wheelchair fit and sizing guide
Choosing the right Virbraroo dog wheelchair starts with accurate measurements. A better fit helps the frame feel stable, reduces rubbing, and gives your dog room to move naturally.
Measure before ordering
- Rear leg height: Measure from the ground to the top of the back near the hips while your dog is standing naturally.
- Body length: Measure from the shoulder area to the base of the tail.
- Hip width: Measure the widest point across the hips so the frame does not rub.
- Current weight: Use your dog's current weight to confirm the size range.
When to choose rear support
Virbraroo rear-support dog wheelchairs are designed for dogs with strong front legs and reduced back-leg mobility. If your dog also needs front-end support, review compatible front wheel kit options or contact us before ordering.
